Sandbox got its start in 2004 as a video production company when Kevin Sansalone and friends started filming the next generation of Canadian pro snowboarders. In 2007, their venture into products began while developing helmets for riders to film in. The need for something that looked cool, fit better and was lower profile than other helmets on the market was the goal. Out came the unique Classic shape, an instant crowd-pleaser in our local snowboard community. Since then, Sandbox have been building their brand globally through grass roots involvement in camps, events, social media and team rider support and exposure.
